Experience some of the best trail running in the world with an international group of adventurous women
Over the course of 11 days, this immersive trail running camp will combine adventure, culture and community to create a one-of-a-kind experience across the small but special country of Kyrgyzstan. Each day will begin with a group run along spectacular landscapes ranging from mountain valleys and small peaks to canyons and lakes. During the day, you will learn about Kyrgyz culture by meeting locals who are preserving century-old traditions such as yurt construction and decoration, making dairy products born from the nomadic lifestyle, and eagle hunting. You will have many chances to try some of these activities out for yourself during participatory workshops.
You will also learn about the contemporary dynamics of women’s entrepreneurship and athletic pursuits in Kyrgyzstan via personal conversations with female community leaders, innovators and aspiring athletes. Our women-only group will create a comfortable atmosphere for having rich conversations that bridge both members of our tour group and the numerous inspiring women which we will meet on our way.
In the end, you will leave with memories of running through indescribably beautiful scenery, bonding with like-minded women, and an appreciation for the hospitality and warmth of Kyrgyzstan that often bring people back year after year.
